The Technical Solutions Consultant is responsible for driving revenue growth by delivering tailored technological solutions to meet clients’ business needs. This role involves analyzing IT systems, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategic solutions. The consultant collaborates with internal teams, builds trust with stakeholders, and creates solution roadmaps aligned with industry trends. Additionally, the role includes training staff, monitoring solution effectiveness, and fostering strong relationships with customers and technology partners to promote digital, fixed, wireless, and ICT services. Excellent communication skills, technical expertise, and business acumen are essential for success in this position.
Job Description:
- Take responsibility for meeting revenue targets for assigned products and services.
- Identify customers’ key business challenges and pain points, translating them into tailored business needs and solutions.
- Present technical and functional features of proposed solutions in terms of business benefits.
- Develop and execute strategies and solution roadmaps aligned with clients’ needs, industry trends, and business initiatives.
- Build trust with customers, technology partners, and managed services providers to promote strategic products and solutions.
- Analyze IT systems and infrastructure, diagnosing inefficiencies and weaknesses.
- Plan project timelines and implement solutions to address business requirements.
- Provide expert advice on technology best practices.
- Collaborate with in-house technical teams and ensure they are familiar with new technologies.
- Train staff to use new IT systems effectively and monitor their success.
- Produce detailed reports on the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Promote Digital Solutions, Fixed, Wireless, and ICT Services of the PLDT Group.
- Offer consultancy and competitive insights to sales teams to address customer requirements.
- Ensure smooth project transitions between sales and delivery teams.
- Assist RMs in shaping tender specifications for new projects.
- Work with technical specialists to clarify complex opportunities and customer queries.
Job Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology, Business Consulting, Technical Sales, or related fields.
- Preferably experienced in selling managed services across various industry sectors.
- Strong background in technical pre-sales and/or solution design and architecture.
- Exposure to scoping and business analysis processes.
- Solid understanding of Business Applications, such as ERP, CRM, and/or Analytics.
- Strong partner relationship management skills (a plus).
- Excellent communication, presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to gather and understand both business and technical customer requirements.
- Skilled at communicating with diverse audiences, including executives, managers, and IT teams.
- Ability to translate business challenges into tailored solutions.
- Strong coordination skills between Sales and Delivery Services teams.
- Creative problem-solving abilities to develop innovative business solutions.
