A Christmas Playdate for ePLDT Parents and Their Kids
As we are encouraged to adhere to the safety protocols and guidelines against COVID-19, the usual Christmas glee and festivity that we have been accustomed to is not possible this year. However, nothing could stop us from celebrating the most wonderful time of the year – not even a pandemic.
To make this holiday season special to our employees and their little ones, ePLDT, in partnership with ReadPro Center for Literacy, facilitated a Christmas Playdate for the first 15 employees who registered in this activity, along with their kids. A read-aloud storytelling was held followed by a couple of games. Participants also received a DIY Christmas Cookie Village Kit, which they decorated based on their preference.
Although Christmas celebrations are still expected to be different this year amid a global crisis, we still cling to hope that with all the confusion and fear that the pandemic has brought, God is with us, has always been, and will always be with us. With the abundance of faith, hope and love, we will all get through this crisis together – A blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!
