Feb-ibig Week 2021: Celebrating Public Display of Admiration
Following nearly a year of social distancing, community quarantine, and limited opportunities to socialize in person, all are forced to think about how to make Valentine’s Day special even though they are apart.
At ePLDT, the season of love was celebrated virtually. Employees were asked to submit a 30-second performance with their loved ones as a way to ‘flex’ them among their colleagues. In another activity, employees were asked to send a picture of them along with their loved ones on their most memorable Valentine’s Day celebration. These activities allowed employees to recognize as well as reminisce beautiful moments with their loved ones even in the most challenging time.
This year’s Valentine’s Day might not be so bad. In fact, it may be more special as it reminds us that through thick and thin, strong relationships can withstand many hardships— including a global pandemic.
